I bet you used an apron! I very seldon were light colour clothes now a days! I only don't spill when I'm sitting on my sofa and eating
but I'm slower than cause I'm watching a program on TV.. sometimes my meal gets cold because of that! I spill lots when I sit at the table and eat! That's because I'm anxious to get away from the table and get back to whatever I was doing or else do something else! The lighter my clothes are it seems the more I spill! Coffee spills are the worst! Oil Spills next to that! Tomato spills you can get them out with Vinegar.. just soak the spot where the spill is in vinegar! No Vinegar? then lemon juice (the real stuff not the sugared concentrate!) You have to do it shortly after the spill as you don't want the stain to set into the fibres!

Molds can be dangerous, although some are beneficial; penicillin is a useful mould. You should definitely scoop out each bloom & it's root system (mycelium). The problem is that commercial sauces contain a lot of sugar.
