no fish debris, disease, and ammonia must be crawling in that water!

No. You should not do that. Change the water, and make sure that you condition the water and have it sit at least 24hrs. If you had stones, plants(real or fake),aquarium furniture,and such make sure that you wash them with hot water only. That goes for the tank as well. Make sure that you do not use soap.The residue is hard to get rid of and will make the fish sick or kill them.You would just be wasting your money on the new fish.

NO>>>>>. first dump the water and wash ur aquarium in cold water then hot water. this will kill the diseases..then wait about 1 week before putting in a new fish

To properly answer your question,you must find out what killed the old fish. If it was ammonia or Nitrite,then you should cycle your tank before killing anymore fish.
