The Basis: Last yr Miami shutout the Pats 21-0 the last win for Maimi and lost in reg for NE. Still in 04 Miami was like 2-12 w/AJ feely starting angainst 11-2 NE on Monday Night and NE pulled off the upset of the season 29-28. Plus Brady could explode

I'll back up my claim with not 1, not 2, but 3 statements:
1) It's the oldest statement in the book, but any team can be beat in any game.
2) In the last year or two, the Patriots have lost 7 division games...4 of those 7 losses have been(pause)...TO THE DOLPHINS!
3) The Dolphins have NOTHING to play for. They've got the worst record in the entire league, they'll have the #1 pick in the draft, & also...They've got nothing to lose.
Teams with nothing to play for are the most dangerous teams to play against.

4 losses to the Dolphins in the last year or two? Are you Crazy?
The Patriots have lost to the Dolphins 3 times out of the past 10 meetings. that's 5 seasons worth of games, and one of those was a meaningless affair that doug Flutie was playing after they clinched the wild card and were going for 2 instead of a tie at the end of the game and free kicking fro the first time in 50 years.

Those that wish that Miami win do so because they hate the Patriots and are hoping that Miami rallies to keep their record intact. Too bad, but they don't really have any incentive to win with their current coach. That coach has lost the team respect for him and they will not do anything to give him credit for protecting the Miami legacy. This year the team will see to it that the coach is driven out of town, legacy or no legacy.

No chance. Beating the Patriots 4 times in the past is the past. It's history.
So let's talk about the present... New England by at least 2 touchdowns (and that's if the Dolphins play so far over their heads that they all get nose-bleeds)

Last year, a bad Miami team beat the undefeated Bears to stop their perfect season. They also did it to the Bears in the 80s, who went 18-1. So Miami has a history of stopping perfect seasons.

You see, it's all part of the plan. The Pats score 7 or 8 easy touchdowns in the first half. Brady, Moss, Welker and Stallworth all shower, dress and go home during halftime, then the Dolphins spring into action and shock the world with a win...If they don't freeze to death first. Howzat?

The only reasoning people can think of is that New England has a good chance to go undefeated just like the DOLPHINS once did, so this year's Dolphins will defend that record.
I expect New England to win by 40.

i haven't heard one person say that they would beat them, but that they would like them too. our basis is sense of humor, and irony. here is a statistic, for you. how many games do you think the pats would have lost this year, had it not been for spygate and the referees? do you honestly believe that the pariots played well enough to beat the ravens? if you do, you are lying to yourself, and are just a typical homer. the end of that game was a joke. like it was scripted to be that way. every time the ravens stopped them, the refs went straight for the flag.

the starters have absolutely no reason to play a snap when homefield and a bye is locked and secured......
thats a legitimate chance you dumbass.... its still a long shot, but they do have a shot...
now if they play brady and company to make sure the season stays undefeated, thats another thing, it would be stupid, and god forbid any injury because in all likelihood, if theyre that greedy, hey bad karma my man bad karma
