If this guy is this jealous she may very well be an abused girlfriend who is unable to see her boyfriend as ever being anything but right.

The problem is we didn't actually see it. That said, it sounds to me like a bully got his posterior kicked soundly. New evidence (security camera tape for example) may shed a different light on the issue but until then I'm satisfied the right guy walked away and the right got carried.
BTW, this woman sounds like a person I know. This woman is in an abusive relationship and her old man can do no wrong. Sad too as family and friends all see what is going on but the woman won't leave, she just keeps taking it. It must be along the line of an addiction; they must first admit there is a problem before anything can be done to help them.

I can understand the deaf man's actions, the girl's boyfriend was absolutely in the wrong by aggressively approaching the man and shoving him. The deaf man had a right to self defense. For the girlfriend questioning the actions of the police, defending her boyfriend's actions, and for the boyfriend who is immature enough to hit shove a man for SMILING at his girlfriend, I think they are the most self-absorbed, immature, and idiotic couple of people I've ever heard of. If someone approached me threateningly, I would defend myself, too. I'm not going to stand there and wait for the attack. The boyfriend got exactly what he deserved and maybe he'll think twice before approaching someone else in a threatening manner.

No matter what anyone says, this girl will think her boyfriend was wronged. She is not looking for the truth, but is looking for someone to back up her arguments. She will not listen to anyone else.
You know the deaf man had to be scared out of his wits. Even a hearing person would be scared, but someone who only knows he is being yelled at, but not why, can you imagine how scary that would be?
By the way, what's wrong with smiling?

I'd certainly take the word of all the witnesses who say the boyfriend started it before I'd take his girlfriend's word. Further more, a guy who'd get so bent out of shape about a stranger smiling at his girlfriend that he's approach the guy is a powder keg ready to go off and can't be trusted. The girlfriend will find herself on the losing end of his angry streak someday. Unreal!

"That guy smiled at ME! Why wasn't HE arrested!!!!???1!one!?"
Oh my god. The stupidity, the naivety, the contempt, ...the-everything!
There are truly no words. I can't wait for the day where she types up another question, "Ok, so-there was this little boy and I smiled at him, y'know? And so he smiled back, now my boyfriend is the jealous type and choked the little boy into a vegetative state. And now he's going to jail for life! Why wasn't my little brother-oops, did I forget to mention that?-held accountable for what he did? How can I get the court and my family to see that he just did that cause he loves me?"

I think the girl's IQ is 0 which is equivalent to a slut.
Why would a girl want the blind person arrested for being attack?
Not going to waste my energy on people who think they know more than other people.

The blind guy "tells" the clerk that he needs paint. yet you besides mght talk some "deaf mute" once you probably did not point out a deaf mute going contained in the save. So, i don't likely get it.

Thanks for sharing this info with us!
I also "contributed" to her answer panel, since I felt that she needed another reminder of how off-target she and her boyfriend are on this issue.
Reminds me of burgulary suspects sue a business or homeowner when they injur themselves during an offense. It's the same Oxy-Moron mentality...

The boyfriend is definitely at fault, and she needs to find someone else. I have had a relationship like hers, but unfortunately, I was the one who got hurt, not the other guy. She needs to find someone with common sense, and she needs to get some herself.
