It was a Western. Black and White silent film called "The Great Train Robbery." I believe it was about 10-15 minutes long. It was indeed the FIRST moving picture ever made.

That would be Black and White Silent Films... I dont think there is a way to pinpoint the very first genre b/c most genres have been around forever... but silent films is a genre now...

i think drama. ost of the best movies in this genre.
But mafia movies also popular.

i'd say silent black and white movies, subtitles(no audio) and no color.
