Ireland - this is an island just west of England. I would choose Europe for the continent.
Venezuala (sp?) - South America
Czechoslovakia (sp?) no longer exists politically. Part of it is the Czech Republic and I'm not sure what the other part is. I's fairly sure the CR is in Europe.
Panama may be part of both North and South America. The Panama Canal goes right through it and completely divides N & S America.
Trinidad & Tobego - I think are in the general Bahamas area so they would be part of North America.
Chili is part of South America.
Turkey is tricky - It is either the very western part of Asia or the very eastern part of Europe. It used to be called Asia Minor, so I would go with Asia.
You might try Googling the countries and looking at Wikipedia. Good luck.

There to be seven continents - 1) Europe, 2) Australia, 3) Africa, 4) Antarctica, 5) North America, 6) Asia, and 7) South America.
Ireland is in Europe.
Venezuela is South America.
Czechoslovakia or Czechoslovak Socialist Republic is a country located in the eastern part of the continent of Europe.
The border between Panama and Colombia is the border between North America and South America so Panama is in North America (and Colombia is in South America).
As for The Republic of Trinidad and Tabago, well, although it is located just off-shore from South America, it is not considered to be part of the South American continent by virtue of its geographical and historical heritage, so that would make it part of the North continent (although it appears to cover both).
Chile is South Continent and geographically, Turkey forms a natural bridge between the old world continents of Asia, Africa and Europe.
Hope that helps and I hope you don't mind me giving you the correct spelling for these countries :)
