Most liberals are ignorant (not stupid) of the issues that surround them. They believe anything Al or Hillary says as long as it makes them feel good.

Yup, you caught me. My husband and I are both undoubtedly what you'd call liberals. Guess what? He's in the Army and he's shipping off to do yet another tour in some cold, rocky, bogging country after Christmas.

So I guess that's hypocrisy, if you assume all liberals are supposed to hate patriotism and that every Western soldier has to worship Bush/Blair, blather on about "freedom" and Christianity for hours, and hate Democrats in order to be a real soldier. He's none of those things, but he's well promoted and still going to go get shot at because that's his job.

Just out of curiosity, have you ever served? Because someone who bangs on about conservative politics, and yet isn't going to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to fighting this war, strikes me as being slightly hypocritical as well.

you mean like conservatives being hypocritical about their position on being pro-life--against aborting a fetus, but supporting the death penalty which takes away a life is a prime example of that. Jesus would be undoubtebly against the death penalty b/c what separated him from everyone else in society during his time was that he never turned his back on society's rejects. he loved EVERYONE. even the criminals.

Also, promoting "family values" meanwhile you guys fool around in toilet stalls, pick up hookers and bang 'em for some bucks, flirt with underage little boys and other disgusting immoral behavior.

It's all just a bunch of nonsense, though. "Liberal" and "conservative" aren't really useful terms in the first place and I don't know anyone who really accurately fits either term.

I think the US is in serious trouble and everyone shares in that. I am completely disgusted with what's going on in the political/government arena's.

Well, I do believe that some absolutely are.

They talk about how they care about others, but they are the first to jump down your throat over stupid things. They think that Bill's affair was fine but complain endlessly about Rudy's past [i agree with neither].

They don't care how Hillary treats people and they actually think that their president doesn't need to have integrity. It is very sad. Hillary [all jokes aside] would be the absolute worst option for our country's future.

They talk about Freedom of Religion all while complaining about the Mormon religion or preaching from the Atheist pulpit [if there is such a thing].

They talk about freedom of religion and then report anything that they don't like.

I told a joke today about Larry Craig. It was funny and someone flipped out on me about being gay this and gay that. He thought I was a lib [I'm not] and was talking about how those typical cons stand up for Larry. He apparently never knew that I am one and don't.

And it seems to me that the only ones that race is really a factor for is the libs. I don't care about race. AT ALL. But they bring it up over and over again [heck, Hillary even brought it up!]
