no cause the league only goes for one year

Well if it is a keeper league, then absolutely.

If it isnt, it should be a random pick.

It shouldn't because Draft Picks snake around. I actually love getting the last pick in the draft because I get the first in the second round.

No, because Fantasy leagues only run for one year. You're in an entirely different league in the '08-'09 season.
