If I have a muffler and then a glass pack will i still get that same respected low tone that i want.?

i have a 95 volvo 960. and it has two mufflers after the cat. and i was wondering if i left the first muffler on would it have the same deep tone or would it change it dramatically. the muffler is just a straight through cylinder.

if you want the deep tone you better take both mufflers off and just put the glasspack on, you can have a piece of pipe made to fit in place of that first muffler.
