Well the plugs will run you about 2.00 - 10.00 each at Advance Auto Parts. Doing them yourself will save you in the neighborhood of 50.00+ at a shop. Rough estimate but not far off. I stress go and get a haynes or chilton auto manual for your car and do it yourself.

Different plugs have different prices. When I had my own car repair shop, I would only use Bosch single-point Platinums. They burn better and cleaner than other plugs I've tried. Better than even the factory installed plugs. Also, the power output is better and so is fuel mileage. I haven't tried the new iridium plugs, yet, but they are supposed to be even better. With either plug, they don"t require gapping as they are packaged for indiviual applications. Where I live, they are $2-3 each.

Go to you rlocal auto parts store and price a set of plugs, a sparkplug wrench, a gapping tool and a manual to tell you how to do the job.
