I recently purchased a package opener called the Plastic Surgeon. Works great on those tough to open clamshell packages! I got it just in time to open holiday gifts for the kids.

I forget what they are called but you can get them at walmart or almost anywhere. Plastic clippers? I dont rememebr the name but they work great on those stupid hard to open packages.....heres the somewhat funny part....they come in one of those hard to open packages...so how do you get them out?

Go to Walgreen's and there is a tool in the hardware aisle that is specifically designed to open the clam-shells! I bought one for my hubby and I love it as much as he does!

I just checked on their web site and it was there too AND it is on sale!

Yes there is it is called an Axe. Just kidding, if you go to one of those kitchen stores in an outlet center, they sell just what you want. I see them all the time, but haven't ever used one.

Hello:

I am not sure what you mean, but I usually use one of my keys (some are better than others) or for CD cases or DVDs I use one of my K9 teeth.

there are also devices out there to open anything. try googleing it...duh?

I use a box cutter, just run it completely around the encased item and lift it right out.
