is he still in prison I thought he was meant to be coming back to England to be rearrested. what's happening with him anyone know?

Disgraced pop star Gary Glitter, who was jailed last year for molesting two girls in Vietnam, could get an early release under a Lunar New Year amnesty.
Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was given a three-year sentence by a Vietnamese court in March 2006 for molesting two girls aged 11 and 12.
He is due stay in prison until November 2008 but officials have recommended he be released three months earlier.
Three judges will decide whether to reduce his sentence on 7 February.
The earliest he can be released is late May, unless the president intervenes, because under Vietnamese law his sentence cannot be reduced by more than 18 months.

I was a teen in the seventies when he was around singing that crap that i hated...and after we all heard of what he was up to all those years with kids i hate the bloke even more...he is one sick weirdo who should be castrated and if he is in prison in Thailand or wherever then he should stay there and rot

Well all his 'glitter' has gone; hasn't it??
Just like the case of the Beatles who said they had become more important or popular than Jesus Christ.
Fundamentally, they have gone into quite some obscurity also!
Many others are celebrated more than they now!

I just read about him today. He's in prison in Vietnam...suppose to get out next year, unfortunately.
