and - it's Not just for small farmers big business takes a lot of that money ! makes me sick it's the Republicans AND the Democrats equally. bush knew in advance that his veto would be over-ridden, and he did almost nothing about it. you would think he could have made a few calls, he could have tried just a little bit.

For efficiency reasons, the White House has ordered pre-printed stationary with Bush's veto stamp and signature already on them. Congress is waiting for delivery of the new stationary to print their approved bills on in order to save time.

Its not that they won't, its that the Senate republicans keep filibustering so that there will be no bills sent to Bush's desk

Obviously you flunked civics along with pelosi and reid. democrats don't have the votes to over-ride a bush veto so they control nothing.

well he can use it to veto the MONEY OUR TROOPS NEED LIKE HE HAS THREATENED TO.
bush will once again hide behind our troops to try to lead by minority again.
i hope congress never sends bush a iraq war spending bill without strings - ever!

because the bills the pelosi;/reid regime are proposing are grandstanding and posturing attempts with iraq. with iraq clearly turning the tide in the favor of the citizens and our conservatives, there is little for the regime left to whine about. thats why theyve stopped. they can gain no poltical advantage.

Hopefully, we are seeing the long awaited (by me at least) return to fiscal conservatism.
