Howard Of Killswitch,he just has a great voice,that song he did with Team Flynn on Road Runner All-Stars "The Dagger" when he sings the melodic part is great and it always gets stuck in my head

It WAS Tarja Turunen of Nightwish, but she got fired for being a diva, and her new solo album is crap.
Currently, I'd have to say that Sharon Den Adel of Within Temptation has the best melodic voice in metal.
