"Grilled cheese sandwich, baby".. man! ~ that sounds so erotic when you are making it for your gf! ~ try it with an outrageous frrench accent!
For grilled cheese you need something with real flavour. I suggest you use a good solid piece of "Blue Vein". Try and get some fresh grapes.. to have with it... the larger the better.. a couple should do.

Roll with the tried and trusted Kraft American cheese, there are none better. And believe me, I've made my fair share of grilled cheese sammiches. Actually, I've made mine AND probably the share of a small village.

string cheese holmes! roll it up in a piece of bread, stick some toothpicks in it to stay together and broil it in the oven. she will love you forever.
