Been there done that,... my story, was married for 33 years this year, I filed for divorce two years and three months ago, HE, fired his lawyer last Jan 2007, another set back, the judge forgot to add certain item to my divorce papers another set back next court date Dec. 20 2007. This time of the year it takes forever to get things done in the court system. Yes anything can slow this down, remember it will take as long as it will take, but if the two people can talk this all out it will make things go faster.
