I recently switched from Verizon to Helio, and have been having a lot problems with my Ocean. It's been a nightmare trying to exchange my phone through customer service, but I'm hoping this is an isolated incident. (It's been over three weeks and they still haven't been able to get a replacement phone to me.) I really like the features that their phones have and their rate plans are great. However, I'm worried that if I ever have another issue, customer service will be of no help. Verizon says that I have until Dec. 17th to switch back without any reprocussions. Anyone else have experience with Helio Customer Service or problems with their Oceans?

Sorry to hear about your troubles, amber. Ever since I signed up for Helio (I have a Heat), my mom's line has been receiving spam text message on a daily basis. When I called them about it, they issued a credit and told me how to block the unwanted messages. The next month, I was still being billed for it.

They're pretty quick to answe the phone. Given your situation, I'd demand to speak to a supervisor and explain your sityuation and how it has not been resolved to your satisfaction. They seem to be OK in trying to help you.

i hated my helio service. at first it was ok, until the web didnt work, once i opened it up it shut the phone of. i made me soo mad. they said they were havent temporary problems with the network and that it should be working within week,...now i would believe that if temporary meant over 4 months. i got tired of it and eventually realized what i was paying(about $80/month) wasnt worth it.
i finally just cancelled it and thought i'd upgrade....

to an iPhone.

first phone i love.
but helio sucks
