why do guys feel it necessary to always be right? I know this is not ALWAYS the case but generally speaking, they like to always argue even if the other person is clearly right. Why can't they admit defeat once in a while? I don't know what they are trying to prove, the only thing they are proving is their a little standoffish and stubborn.

Because they are insecure, and have very tiny penises. They know it, and are afraid that if they admit to being wrong, everyone else will know it too.
I could be wrong though...
