We are Japanese high school students.

The other day,we learned that "tofu"is eaten in America.
Can I find Japanese food in America other than tofu?

And what do you think about Japanese food culture?

We have an interest in this topic.

If you like playing with food, then go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. That's fun. Or how about the gyoza museum world in Tokyo where you can sample all sorts of gyoza in an adventurous surrounding? Howabout tachigui soba? You can order a cheap bowl of delicious noodles and eat it while standing at a counter. Best bet is to make Japanese friends. Take up offers to go out with people until you get into a crowd of foodies, then stick with them. You'll be eating noodles sliding down bamboo pipes, eating sashimi straight from the wiggling fish, slurping ramen at the best ramenya, making your own noodles, etc. Have fun.

Yes japanese food is served in america but america is basically a mixing pot of a lot of different cultures so they have a lot of different foods. other than tofu there are certain japanese dishes and the mostly used sushi which is mentioned too much and there are sections in most grocery stores that carry asian foods and spices which i eat a lot of.

Yes. You can find some Japanese foods in the oriental food section of Walmart Super Center, major grocery store chains. Tofu and other refrigerated items are in the produce section of these stores. Your best bet would be to ask other individuals in your local area about an international, Asian/Oriental specialty store. Most of these stores are located close to university, military bases/posts, in larger cities and towns. Don't be afraid to ask them to order special items for you - they want your business. Some Indian grocery stores also carry Asian/oriental groceries. Best wishes! :D
