i looked at this american website and it had 11/10c as the time for one of its programmes

what does it mean???

11:00 Eastern time-zone, 10:00 Central time zone.

It means that the programme is on at 11 o'clock in all time zones except Central Standard Time where it is on at 10 o'clock.

We have different time zones because the US is 3,000 miles coast to coast. 11/10C means a show is broadcast at 11 o'clock eastern time, which is 10 o'clock central time.

Comes on at 11 your time. 10 is central time.

Yep, the 10 means it's at 10:00 if you live in the central US, 11:00 anywhere else.

I'm not fully sure !! Only because I do'nt ever recall seeing all of the labels for the different time-zones !?! But I'm pretty sure that C or you may see at time C`T<-- ?? or maybe even ... Central Standard Time my time zone is Eastern Standard Time !?! ....
