I attend St Johns and am in my 2nd year on the Queens campus. I have many friends who are pharm. majors and I know that it is a very elite program that comes with alot of work and hard work at that. our pharm. program is one of our best known, next to our law program. if you have the grades and are really serious about this as your major, I would definitely recommend stj as a school to apply to. you can go to the website stjohns.edu and look at the course bulletin to find out more about the program.
good luck!

Icetea:
If you want to be a nurse, make sure that you take the four year university course. Get a BS, and then go for a Master in Nursing. (If this is what you want to be).
St.Johns, is one of the leading Universities in New York.
I am Roman Catholic, and attended medical university in Tokyo, Japan for six years plus four year internship in a hospital. Then four years in Beijing, China to study acupuncture. (I like natural treatments if and when possible).

the main suitable graduate scientific colleges are in all risk UC-Berkley and UCLA, Harvard scientific (or any of the Ivy leagues--Dartmouth, etc.), Georgetown, Stanford, Vanderbilt... to call some. Undergraduate institutions hardly supply a level in premedicine, so there are possibly no longer any "reliable" undergraduate colleges for drugs. you may substantial in biology, chemistry, or yet another technology at any public or inner maximum college and--with reliable grades and perfect volunteer and internship activities--benefit admittence to scientific colleges.
