they knew love and how to seduce a woman. thank you for making me feel like one with this poem. i hope one day the feeling that he gave to his love will be the same when i finally find the one who will give that to me.

a translation of ancient egyptian artistic writing is unlikely to strike the exact note intended by the author when read by an audience from a culture removed in values, beliefs and time. Although it is interesting to see this translation it would require a lifetime of study to truly understand the intricacies and cultural references which we recognise almost without thought when we read contemporary work.

The imagery is captivating, the love story eternal and fascinating.I love the question format, it makes me feel like I am right there,invisible, listening to privately spoken words.

Its a very nice poem , I like it a lot but I don't try and read meanings into poems unless they are written for me and I have someone very special in my life who occasionally writes me very loving things.
I just wish there were more

Nice epitaph but you'd have trouble fitting all those hieroglyphs on an Ankh. It's nice she made arrangements for her beloved cat.
