What are they going to do with a gun? Shoot somebody? Stroke and polish it and fantasize about stopping the "bad guys"?
I don't own a gun. Most of my family don't own guns. Most of my friends don't own guns. We're not paranoid, and we manage to survive just fine.

My home is FAR from "gun-free." Most of my collection, however, is locked up. I do however have some well hidden items ready for immediate use.
Better knock first. And show a warrant.
If you enter without an invitation or a warrant, you better hope my sweetie doesn't get to you before I do. I'm bad... but she's a holy terror.
Gotta love a tough left-wing babe who's good with a gun!

The right to bear arms isn't a requirement to bear arms. Informed adults get to make the choice for their own home and circumstances.
Parents are wise to weigh the need for home protection against the likelihood of their child getting ahold of a gun.

Don't start a home burglary business believing Americans aren't armed and dangerous. I don't know anyone without a gun.

Besides, do you have any idea how many people get shot with their own guns by criminals who broke into their homes and found them?

Never needed one.
Had to take one away from my Mom when she got Alzheimers and THOUGHT she needed one because: the teenage grocery store bagger was living in her attic and making rude noises in the middle of the night and hiding her purse.
