There used to be real celebrities. The Hepburns, Marilyn, Dustin. There's no such thing as a celebrity these days, just a load of tramps and media whores who will do anything to get famous. Celebrity ended with the dawning of things like Big Brother and X Factor, shows which people go on with the sole intention of becoming famous. It's not about talent or good personality anymore, it's about backstabbing and b1tching and drugs. I can't even read a normal paper anymore without another story about Britney being a bad mother. And the amount of money some of them have makes me sick to the stomach and highlights how unjust the world is. Look at Angelina Jolie. A supposed humanitarian but she commands $20 million per film. The craziness will stop when people stop caring about what these losers are doing, but I don't see that happening for a good long while.
Yes, I sound totally bitter and I am, but not because I'm jealous, rather because it makes me sad that the world is in such a state yet we care about what a bunch of nobodies are having for breakfast.

I think that famous people are (or should be) normal people. They get an enlarged pay check for something an average person could do. Or, they are famous cuz they have the money to be (i.e paris hilton). When the truth is, they are normal people who most the time don't have any talent....to find a person with talent is amazing.

Celebrities are people just like you and me, the only exception is that they get more respects and more attention. I think that a few celebrities only care about them self. Others just walk all over people to become a celebrities. I don't think their special and don't deserve any special attention.

For real dude! Except Criss Angel!! umm! To me he is something Worth every penny he gets! ahh! It's true, he has worked so hard for his fame! I really like that in a person! Also he loves everyone!! He's never an as* like some of these Celeb!!

celebrities r kinda awkward t0 me! i think they d0n't have a mind s0metimes! i mean the rev run family i l0ve them because they might have their dumb moments but they kn0 h0w t0 change them! f0r example: Paris Hilton! she had many DUI's right? why c0uldn't she just hire a driver? that is s0 dumb! the same with lindsey l0han and nicky hilt0n...britney! d0n't even tell me about britney! she is dumber than a stack 0f hammers! s0 i think that celebrities r very dumb! well s0me 0f them!

A lot of them are snobs and are self centered. It seems like even when they give, it is just to gain popularity.

I think that they are over rated and people need to realize that they are just like everyday people except with more money then most of us.
