I had a big, soft pretzel on one of my trips to New York when I was a child. Just like you I liked off the salt. If I had more than four bites of it, it's saying much.

Sooo yummy. There's a pretzel place at the mall, and whenever I go there, I HAVE to get a pretzel.
If you haven't eaten a soft pretzel, there is something wrong with you.

Yes, and they are delicious. I've had them in Philadelphia, New York City and (next door to where we live in Belgium) Aachen, Germany.

yes, I have had many soft pretzels, but find its either TOO bland, or TOO salty. I have yet to find a perfect soft pretzel. *sigh*
