Yes, it is disturbing. I have 2 daughters, my youngest just turned 12 in Nov. and, of course, she has just started her period. My other daughter is 16 and, fortunately, she has the sense to use protection. Not that I approve, but, who are we to fool ourselves that our daughters aren't having sex. Parents' can't turn a blind eye and think that their child is not sexually active or, has had sexual intercourse. Yeah, you're thinking that I'm too permissive as a parent. But, I have taught both of my daughters that is it not proper to have sex but, despite advice, it can still happen. Sad, but true. I, just read about a 14 year old that has become pregnant and her boyfriend wants her to terminate. This is reality.

It depends on the situation. Usually girls mature faster than boys, which is why the girl is usually dating the older guy. A 12 year old dating is kind of young, which is why it's not that socially acceptable. A 15 year old and a 13 year old is also kind of bad seeing as they are in different stages of life[middle school vs high school]. They can't really relate that well, and should try and find "mates" going through the same stage in life.

You know part of the problem is the parents. And part of the problem is the school system and the leading Church of the State or/and town. There has to be a boy at school who must have boasted about the deed before she found out she was pregnant. Now he is calling her names and spreading roomers.HE is a responsible part of the party. It takes a community to raise a child. This is a committed crime.
