hey.
i was just wondering if u had any idea wut this was.
i slammed my little finger with a wieght machine, about 15 pounds
The middle knuckle was bruised and my finger was really swollen but i could still bend it so it was okay and it only hurt when i bent it.
but now its been a month and the middle knuckle still has like a swelled/fatty thing on it and is 4 milimeters bigger than the other pinky middle knuckle.
and also when i feel the knuckle i feel this hard little knot in it and it moves around. if i touch it at the wrond angle it hurts like h*** for like 5 minuits. and it still has a pink coloring/bruise to it but i dont know if its just
scar tissue or a bruise or what? so do you have any idea because its kinda freaky. what should i do?

U prob have a hairline fracture in it, which would explain why u can still move it. When healing it prob healed a little wrong casing the bone to form a little lump. This lump could be causing a nerve to be a little more out of place which could cause ur extra pain. Go to a specialist and get some xrays.

Have you had an Xray....you should because my niece fell off the ladder of her bunk bed and we thought that she broke her finger....well she could move her fingers after about a half hour of crying and then all was well, so we thought....the next day she had a lot of swelling and pain so her parents took her to the hospital and sure enough there was a little bone in her hand that was broken, as an adult maybe the pain isn't as bad as it would be to a child....maybe you just sprained it badly but to rule this out have an Xray....if it's a sprain maybe all it needs it a rest....and a ace bandage....but to be safe, it may heal incorrectly if something is broken....and if you play an instrument this could ruin your finger !!!!!!!! So please go and have it checked !!!!!!!!!!

I think u bruised the bone or fractured & let it heal back together in the wrong place. Either way u should see a doctor or a specialist soon.

I would go see an orthopedist - one who specializes in hands. Perhaps you've broken a bone and have a chip in there. Get some x-rays and see what the deal is.

Soundeth like a hematoma and some tissue damage. Ice it, used anti-inflammatories and go see a doc if not improved.

sounds like you might have broke a piece of your knuckle you really need to see a doctor!!

you probably have a hairline fracture, which is why the finger will still function. you need x-rays
