Honestly, How long until the 49ers make the playoffs? and win the Super Bowl?

I'm going to say 5 more years of horrible /average football. Frank Gore is the only weapon we have and thats sad. Do you think Alex Smith is a bust? Should Mike Nolan be fired? this franchise has fallen SO hard... thanks....and Cowboys suck.

5 years for playoffs.

8-10 years for Super Bowl win/lose.

They'll make the playoffs in 6 or so years with good draft picks. The Super Bowl might never come back to San Fransisco, I think they end with 5 unless something amazing happens.

Well you had me until the "Cowboys suck" comment. First of all...your team isnt 12-1 so .....keep that in mind before you say someone else sucks.

What should really niner fans is that they dont seem to be doing anything to correct their problems. They put alot on Alex Smith and that hasnt worked out which sets them back even more. Coaching is apparently a problem with the niners. they really need that first piece to work out and build from there. Thats how the Cowboys rebuilt with Aikman, Pats rebuilt with Billicheat, the Chargers with Tomlinson and Marty Shottenheimer. San Fran just needs that first piece to stick and then build around that.

You guys need to get it together. Starting with a real quarterback. The division you play in is so weak that you should always contend for a wild card slot.

And you need some recievers.

Everybody remembers the players and coaches of the great 49rs teams of the past (and they deserve to be remembered, of course,) but there was another factor - the owner.
49rs troubles started with the change of ownership. I think they have very little chance to be successful with this ownership.
