Mala Kaliki Waka or something close. It's also played in National lampoon's Christmas Vacation when Cousin Eddie is ready to dive into the make-believe pool.

Yeah that Hawaiian Christmas song, used in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (one of my favorite movies, Squirrel!) is what you're thinking of, but Elvis is usually famous for his emotional Blue Christmas rendition.

i dont think that elvis sings it
i do know that he sings blue christmas
