It won't hurt her unless it is some weird fiberglass fabric. Those little creatures can digest just about the same type of things that a rat can eat. They won't eat everything a rat will, but they probably could. The fiberglass could cut the gut while being digested. My guess is that the dress was made of cotton or some polyester fabric that is going to be pretty benign. Your little buddy may not have eaten it at all. She may have chewed it up for bedding. In any event, don't worry.

She probably did not eat it, she just made a lovely colorful nest. But watch and be sure she is still doing her normal poops. If she has impacted intestines it could not be good for her. Give her some pumpkin pie filling and that will flush her out. But call you vet before you do anything>

I dont think she would eat the fabric. They usually like fabric and other materials to build their nest. Most likely she has shredded it up and dispersed it around her cage. I dont think you should worry, she'll be fine!

Rodents dont just eat un-food items. They shred them up for bedding. Your hamster didnt eat it, she is using the material for a mattress. In fact...give her fabrics and paper towels, and the paper towel/toilet paper cardboard. She'll love it.

They usually do not EAT fabrics, but rather shred them to use as bedding. If they DO eat the fabrics, then it can be harmful if it causes obstruction in the intestines.

I don't think she ate it. I think she wants it for her nest.
If she did eat it I don't think it will kill her, maybe give her a upset tummy.
