Red Sox over the Dodgers...to me the best three teams in the A.L. are the Red Sox, The Tigers, and The Yankees...and unless something changes pitching wise I don't see either the Yankees or Tigers going deep into the playoffs.

Very good question. My pix are the Cubs versus the Angels. Cubs were solid last year, and if they get Fokudome, that would be tough to beat and they have an amazing bullpen and good farm depth if they need help. The Angels got Torii Hunter and Jon Garland, and they still aren't done. I'm a red sox and white sox fan, but this is what I think will play out. The Angels will probably win the series, though.

everybody's going to say detroit because of the big trade they just made, but i don't see any reason why they would beat boston in a series, considering dice-k will only get better, beckett is unbeatable in the postseason, and they have eveyrbody coming back (with lowell resigned). i have to say boston's pitching gives them the edge.
