I have a feeling that it's going to be warm enough to open the pool this Christmas here in TN.

The snow usually melts right before Christmas, but then snows a lot about a week later.

Yep but maybe one in two of three. We used to always have snow on the ground on Christmas and just 4 years ago had a huge blizzard ( 24") on Christmas Day. Talk about white! We have had two or three small accumulations so far this year up here in N. Westchester County NY, so maybe some for Christmas Eve and Day.

It has been snowing in my town. I was worried that we wouldn't be having a white Christmas, but the storms finally hit. The warming trend does worry me. I think global warming is definitely happening!

Hardly ever. It is in the 70's here now. Usually the only white thing about our Christmas is us.
