Yep. I was just observing this morning that the Bush presidency would be much like the Jackson presidency. Uncanny that you arrived at that same conclusion.

Wrong! Do some research.... Andrew Johnson & William Clinton are the only Presidents in the history of the United States to be successfully impeached. Not successfully removed from office! Nixon, resigned before House of Reps could begin the process of impeachment. Also was pardon by Ford! Which was not the norm as most pardons are usually granted to those that have been tried, convicted and served some, most or all of the sentence. to get a pardon you have to admit guilt to your unlawful acts of that you were sentenced for. The impeachment process is brought by House Judiciary committee to the House of Representatives to decide if there is grounds enough to bring the president up on charges. If so then the impeachment is successful. Then the Senate holds trial on the charges that are brought against the President. They then vote Guilty or Not-Guilty. According to required votes needed (two-thirds majority) the verdict decides if the President is removed from office or not. If found guilty, the result would be successfully removed from office! Which at this time has never happened! Carter was better at being a Diplomat and Humanitarian, than he was at President. He wasn't respected by the world as was apparent with the Iran hostage crisis. For when Reagan took office, release of hostages was minutes after being sworn in.

Bush's investors never got the oil. But they are being richly rewarded now with more money than they ever imagined. You are insulting the history of Jackson to compare him to Bush. No one compares to Bush. Even Hitler did his evil deeds and destruction based on his beliefs, however wrong. Bush does his evil deeds strictly for money for himself, Cheney and their cronies.

No, because there is no similarity that any objective non-partisan observation would find.
Bush did not go into Iraq for the oil. That stupidity is old and without any validity.

Jackson acted in defiance of a supreme court ruling when he relocated the Cherokee nation. Bush has complied with the supreme court.
