For some people it is about the same amount of time. However this is not true for everyone. Mine was delayed because of my c-section. I didn't get mine until nine days after the birth. My advice is to have better pain management. My nurses didn't tell me that I could have 2 pain pills at a time. I was in considerable pain and that delayed my milk from coming in. So if you do have a c-section take as many pain pills (and as directed of course) as you need to stay comfortable.

It's the same for any type of birth. Usually between 2 to 7 days, just depending on your body. With my son (who was born via c-section), I had him on a Monday and my milk came in on Saturday.

Exactly the same as a natural delivery. Colostrum will come in as soon as your baby is no longer present in the womb, regardless of how he leaves it. Milk will come in about 3 to 5 days after the birth, before that your baby will get all his nutrients from the rich colostrum

Same as with a vaginal delivery. Mine came in about 3 or 4 days after my C-section. Good luck!

same as a natural delivery. Some women get milk after 2 days, others up to a week.

I had an emergency C section and they were helping me start pumping as soon as I was awake. They didnt get much at first but after about a day it was up with what you would get with a normal vaginal delivery. I was pumping because my daughter was in the NICU...

Approx. 3-5 days post-partum.
Colostrum should be fine during that time period as baby's tummy can only hold a very small amount at once. (It's the size of his tiny fist.)
