We can't know for sure whether or not they've had that storyline to begin with not to mention dropped it. We might see more of this rivalry come about by Royal Rumble, but look at it this way: There's still quite some time before Wrestlemania 24, and possibilities are endless, so this might still happen. You can never trust spoiler sites..Personally, I was hoping and thinking we could see a Triple H vs. Shawn Michael's rivalry for WM, and that would be how Triple H completely turns heel if he doesn't turn heel by Armageddon.

Don't believe the spoiler sites. I just semi-believe the stories backstage or the stories about anything BUT future feuds or matches. I mean, c'mon, where were they when HBK came back? Where were they when RVD came back last night? Please! Just don't believe 'em. Besides, the WWE wouldn't book a match months in advance, 'cause they are always changing the story lines.
The 'Batista vs. HHH match' would be awesome if it was 5 years ago, back when the WWE actually put some effort to shock and amaze fans during matches. Nowadays, they have a bunch of build-up for matches and what happens at the end? We are all disappointed by a mediocre match AT BEST!

I thought the plan was that Batista was gonna win the Rumble and challenge HHH for the WWE title, which would mean he's gonna lose the World title soon to either Edge or Taker and be in the Royal Rumble match. and it also means Orton's gonna drop the WWE title to HHH soon, maybe at the Rumble, which would tell you who's gonna win the Hardy-HHH match this Sunday.

If it is, I would distrust it anyway. Anything can change; circumstances could be changed around, and the WWE is not that predictable to have their WrestleMania main event already visible to anyone.
