The feminist movement did a lot of harm as suddenly some women didn't want men to do chivlarous things for them and developed really hateful attitudes I don't really think that it is dead as myself as a southern gentleman was raised up with manners and respect and believe in helping ladies with doors etc and others as well. I know that my sweetheart appreciates me being a gentleman with her and I always will treat her with respect. There are still a lot of women who really appreciate it and a lot of good men with manners left.

Chivalry dead??? No dear, not yet.

Simply opening the car door - or holding the coat for ladies to wear is not chivalry. It's deeper than that.

Chivalry is much more in today's world than ever before - only it's become more subtle because today's woman objects.

In school, college, university, office, on the bus and in the road, at home or elsewhere, MANkind is always ready to help WOMANkind. Just look around you and see how many males are helping and giving importance to females. This same feeling stretches on to chivalry.

On the flip side, you will notice that females seldom give importance to guys. It's more of a fad among females to make it seem that she is so independant that she doesn't need a guy.

Chivalry is very much there - only your eyes are blinded with (maybe) too much (unjustified) stress on independance.

Feminists killed it.

Treat feminists like men and non-feminists like ladies. Everybody wins!
