"Hey, I'm open-minded. I have a few straight friends and they are fun to be with sometimes.

I don't agree with their lifestyle, but it's their choice, as long as they don't kiss and stuff in public.

I hate it when straights or anyone else throw their sexuality in our faces".

I would say they were a person that wanted to open peoples eyes to what it feels like when straight people say the same thing. This way people see how stupid it sounds.

lol this guy doesn't really sound that open minded. I'm a straight female and one of my best friends isn't straight (male) i don't care if he kises his bf around me. It's nothing, but sexual preferance and if their making out just turn your head. This guy is a little to consumed with his sexual orientation. Who cares what sexuality you are it's all about if your fun, loyal, and caring.

I would define them as having an opinion, just like you have an opinion also. Now you can either hate them, as im sure many people may hate your lifestyle. But then wouldnt you be just like them?

Is that ironic? 6.o If not, I assume the answer you're looking for is "hypocritical."

If the person is not being sarcastic, s/he clearly defines him/herself as straight in very narrow terms. What point is there in us trying to define someone else?

Just a comment. Note the "or anyone else", in the third sentence.

Normal? That's how I feel about gays and lesbians. To each their own. I don't kiss and stuff in public, and I don't like it when anyone else does.
