We did no longer comprehend what we've been having so we painted the room chocolate and teal. that's chocolate midway up the wall and then the remarkable a million/2 and the ceiling are teal. It created a great evaluation for the toddler to seem at. We decied to apply horses as a topic, some thing a splash distinctive from the "norm"! We figured it would be surprisingly independent. I had some bedding I had bought at a storage sale that could paintings till we knew the gender of the toddler. We had seen the two little cowboy and little cowgirl bedding that we enjoyed. We ended up with a splash boy and the room grew to become out large stunning.

Go for something that she won't grow out of too soon. You don't want to be redecorating in 3 years. For girls, butterflies, ladybugs, and dragonflies are good. Also, for girls you can do things that some people might think are "for boys" like zoo animals, aquarium, jungle theme or the circus.
I would stay away from licensed characters as these go in and out of style, and you don't know what your toddler will be "into" but all kids like animals. :)

There are lots of cool themes you can pick from. Flowers, bugs, female super heroes, zoo animals or cowgirls. I saw a Parisian nursery that I love with pictures of pink poodles, but you'd have to really be into a pink room to like it.

Go to Babies R us and see what catches your eye and then go from there. Remember you will have to live with it for a while.
For my oldest Daughter we did bunnies & bears. (she is 7 and we are still living with it)
For my younger daughter we did a pink & white toile,
In both cases I tried for something that would work as she got older, I can't afford to redecorate every couple of years.
