Those days were..............when????? It only took 2 generations of humans to begin to use violence to "solve" problems. The problem is - we only create more. It's happened for a long time - it's just becoming more prevalent in the United States and especially the schools. We removed prayer in 1962 and the 10 commandments - with the reasoning "that someone might actually read and follow them." The problem is we've removed all traces of morality from the public square and depended on the highest moral of relativism. Well, maybe some people don't value life the way you do? Why not let them kill? I'm just making a point. The bottom line is that we've removed any standard for morality from the public square and so there are alot of kids slipping through the cracks and not learning right from wrong and they don't know what love is because no one is showing them. They either kill while kids - or end up killing as adults. It's sad really.

Whoever is coaching that wars remedy issues is coaching incorrectly! i've got self assurance smacking could be a final hotel. If the issue could be solved using words, that could desire to be executed. some little ones get caught on some process action and basically pass hell for leather-based till somebody hits them. If a smack is the only project that works, what decision is there? needless to say "hard love" is needed in specific circumstances. i've got been instructed i visit be a *itch mum. not an exceedingly friendly project to declare, yet while the alternative is a permissive mom who enables her little ones to misbehave and irritate each and every person, *itch mom sounds stable! Heaven forbid that fogeys could deliver their little ones as much as take duty for themselves. Goodness knows what might ensue to society!

The same thing that happened to the days where air was fit to breathe without giving an epidemic number of children breathing disorders, food didn't constantly have salmonella, water came from the tap instead of a bottle & people cared more about clean air & water than who is on Oprah this week. This is progress?

You mean the days when they crucified people? Or the days when they burned enemy settlements to the ground? Or even earlier, when your entire culture was based around a herd of animals that you would regularly kill and eat?
Thus far, violence has been an intrinsic part of Earth life.

Thats because it has gotten worse! In history people killed each other everyday but it wasnt over a $20 bag of weed, or because one kid bullied another one! Now its all over silly stupid things. The kid In Omaha that just shot and killed 10 people- including himself at the mall- why? Cuz he had gotten fired from his McDonald job!!! PLEASE! Save us all! Atleast in history it was over freedome, land, and what was RIGHT! Not over silly little things that just DO NOT matter!

Yeah like both World Wars, the civil war, the war of 1812, the holy wars, and all the acient civilization battles. Violence has been around since the beginning of time, so I don't know what day you're talking about.

Those days never existed. Society always looks back and puts a gloss over the days of yore, but society was always filled with violence. This day and age, we just have a media that lets you know when stuff goes down.

When was this? The ancient Romans, the crusades, the inquisition? Maybe it was twenty years ago, when we had the highest number of serial killers in recorded history.
Sorry, there is no good old days, enjoy the ones you are living now.
