My mother has forest-like,deep green eyes.She says that when she was at my age(a young girl)her eyes were light brown with little green.I have muddy greyish green eyes.Do you think that the color will change as I am growing up?

it is hard to tell. my eyes did change as I got older. they were plain brown when i was a kid, but as I have gotten older, the more hazel green they have become. they are lighter and the yellowish circle and the lacey pattern is more evident. they went from a chocolate brown color to a more lighter amberish colored brown.
my brother's haven't changed a bit. they are the same brown they always have been. to me it seems like if your parents have different colored eyes, they might be more apt to change. my mom's are blue grey/green and my dad's are brown.

I've heard of eye color dulling out as you get older but not change color completely like from blue to brown or something unless you are wearing colored contact lenses.

Your born with blue eyes, then most likely your eyes change color. I started with blue eyes, then brown, and now hazel. My cousins eye color changed when she was about 7-8

Yeah same with your hair it changes too. My eyes and hair were lighter when i was younger.

maybe they become lighter.but never heared that they go darker.mayby for your mam its areflect from colourfull clothes,etc.
