No, he cannot be classified as a midget just yet. He still has some more years of growing to do.
You'll be surprised at the growth spurts teenagers go through! He just might outgrow you.

Gracious! If he was a midget, his doctor would have told his parents and him a long time ago. At 14, neither of you may have reached full height yet. I have friends who are just short, nothing wrong with that at all. While his parents seem a bit on the short side, they are completely normal. It's hereditary anyway. Let the guy keep his $1. You don't win this one.

No he's not you can be 14 and not have a growth sport yet. Most of the guys in my grade are 15-16 and some are super short like 4'8 just tell him to wait a few years and he'll get taller.

No, he is not a midget. It does not matter how tall his parents are. Full size people have little people babies all the time.. A little person has to be under4'10 and he could hit a growth spurt any second.

At that age, some boys haven't hit their growth spurt yet. And the height of his parents doesn't always predict how tall someone will be.
I have a nephew who is a little over 6' and his parents are 5'2" (mom) and 5'7" (dad).

he is not a midget. he is still growing. he may be short when he gets older like 5'5-5'6 but he is not a midget.
