Too lazy and no pride in their work. People should think of spell check as a mirror. Would they go out in public looking sloppy?

Yes, because people are lazy and it demonstrates the degradation of the English language. Written and verbal communication skills are hugely important.
I don't correct people here on their spelling, but it is annoying.
Don't they have any pride in their writing?

Mayb because they do not mind about their spelling...it doesnt rele matter if it is not hugely important - schoolwork, job application...

If the meaning is still understood it is good...

But I do c where u r cummin from - it bugs me to...
