Philadelphia has some great sights to see, as the birthplace of our country, as well as lots of great restaurants, and everyday folk. From here, you are a short drive away from Washington D.C., our capitol, where some of the greatest museums you will see, plus great monuments of our past. Both cities also offer shows, music, dancing, and anything else you need to entertain yourself.

Its really butt-naked freezing cold in most states right now. I suggest you go to a warmer climate state during the winter time. I suggest california. specifically los angeles, there is plenty to do there. I'm not sure what florida is like at the moment, I would check if any storms or tornados are planning a vacation there any time soon.

New York City, Florida, California, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Boston, New Orleans...it's a matter of what you like to do and what time of year you visit. It is a huge country and, like anywhere else, has its good points and bad points. If you plan well, you can have a great time.

For warmer weather go to Florida or California. If you want cold go to NY, Washington, Montana, any state north of the Mississippi.

Go to California. Its the golden state:) its beautiful. You just dont stay in downtown LA if you want to avoid "dangerous" situations. Depends on what you like... the good thing California has it ALL. City, forest, desert, snow, parties, anything and everything.

i lived in san francisco for a while and i still think its one of the most unique citys (minus our gay community if that offends you). everything is not too far, and there is so much stuff to see and do. its real cold right now tho...but not freakish cold. so if u prefer a no snow but holiday feel place...this is it.

oh goodness...I do not know where yo are form but do not pick the US for vacation. We have so very little history and it is filled with ignorant people. There are so many great countries in Europe with great food and tons of unique and historic sights...go there you will be more impressed!!
