Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Basically what it is: Some women instead of releasing the egg from their ovary it stays there and becomes inclosed and surrounded by a fluid sac. It is still attached to the ovary forming a Cyst. Some women will get one then it will rupture and that is all they get, some women have them continually, and their ovaries have "many" cysts. The case with "many" cysts would be the PCOS.
If you have it - best wishes! and because you asked in TTC, I'm going to assume you're TTC - it is possible, hang in there!!! My sister has it and has two children.

Poly-cystic ovary syndrome. It means you have cysts on your ovaries and probably don't ovulate on a regular basis or have your period every month. And when you do get your period it is some what painful and very heavy.
