I was thinking about buying a CD.The problem is it costs $24.99.I normally don't pay that much for a CD.The most I even spent was $20.00 bucks.I was wondering is $24.99 too much to pay for a CD.Should I just look around in different stores.

That's a lot for a CD. Is it a double album, or does it have special interactive features on it? Either way, that's still a bit steep. I would check on amazon.com. I buy music offf vendors all the time, and even if it is used, you're just going to make it digital anyways. Either that, or download the songs online.

That is way too much for a cd.
It is almost 30 bucks if you think about it.

There could be a few reasons for this.
It could be because it is brand new, there is bonus tracks or whatever on it, but also because people don't usually purchase cd's anymore.
Everyone downloads music offline.

I mean, I can suggest that if you really don't want to spend that much, or bother with buying a cd off amazon, or ebay and having to wait.

Sometimes, if you really want the CD, any price is worth it. But regret usually comes afterwards. I waited 3 months to get a CD because it started out as $22. And I only got it for $11. It's best to wait a while. And if you can't then go for it.

it depends on what the is in the cd, or if it has bonus tracks. i bought this fall out boy cd at target and it had 5 bonus tracks. and it was out in stores for a while, but i bought it for $15. that is way too much to pay for a cd, it probably is new in the stores. thats probably why.

If it has special features or comes with a DVD, that seems about right. If thats just for the CD, I'd shop around a bit. Try half.com too.
