economy in U.S. from deteriorating further?

It's always been said that there needs to be war in order for the economy to pick up. Being economy and job growth pretty good until now in which everything, including the dollar (and never mind WALL STREET), is just slipping and falling very fast, how long can the U.S. stay away from declaring war on IRAN?

I suppose it must be IRAN, because VENEZUELA, although very rich in OIL, and even though Chavez threatens to take it away at slightest of provokations, it's not large or powerful enough to be considered a worthy enemy to combat for a long time.

Don't be like that, the US dollar is one of the most stable currencies in the world. It's every bit as worthless now as it was three years ago.

Please tell me you aren't advocating the invasion of Iran JUST to try to pick up the US economy?? The USA is in the middle of two wars right now, neither of which it looks even slightly like winning, and the American economy is as stagnant as it has ever been. You fecking moron, are the lives of your troops and the lives of Iranians worth a few lousy dollars?

No wonder every other nation regards America and it's cretinous president as the worlds' no.1 threat with window lickers like you voicing their opinions.

We will not be going to iran anytime soon. For many reasons. 1) it would be inpossible to lie and say the war wasnt for oil. 2) Even with superior weapons and soldiers sending troops to base in the midle of three countries with know terrorist Afganistan, Iran, and Iraq would be dumb. 3) The inevitable catistrophic cost of superorly trained sodiers, fighting gost armys of towel heads who hit and hide in the countries they grew up in and know every inch off. 4) Currently Turkey is wanting in on Iraq. But the only portion the US claims is Steadily governed, although harboring terroist fugitive that attacked turkey recently. 5) Without Blair not even Brittian would back an attack no matter what. 6) Russias very pissed for Bushes attempt to put US military Missle defense stations in Czek Republic. 7) If you havent caught on To many countries are pissed at the US and we cannot start a new war with just iran without others backing 8) Currently North Korea the Nuclear Lovers are over in Iran and Seria trying to Promote Nuclear Ploriflification.
Basically their is no chance we would go to war with Iran. Do your research the rebuilding process for Afganistan stoped after one highway because the oil line US wanted to run through was bought out by Argintinian Oil companies who didnt ask for better treatment of women. When the US invaded iraq the first things the military took control of was the oil fields. Meanwhile 15 miles from Bagdad in the mist of caous local villigers tiped over barrels of nuclear waist to reuse for food and water at a well know nuclear plant. So it is obvious that when the US only produces 6mill. barrels of crude oil a day, and uses 25 and our economy needs it that yes we will rise. but no it is not an option. keep up on current events US oil companies are rebuilding Iraqs oil fields and possibly building new ones to cover cost of wars.
SO NO WE WONT INVADE OR GO TO WAR WITH IRAN

We don't have the manpower to invade Iran. That's because the troops we have are already stretched way too thin. That's why troops in Iraq have been serving multiple tours. The only way to fix that is to re-instate the draft but that idea doesn't have a lot of popular support.

I note all you talk about is the economy, money, oil, etc. Any human/moral considerations in your thinking?
