The majority of people in here seem to be smart so I want your opinion. I am beyond annoyed with Sprint and was thinking about changing. Leaning twords T-Mobile. Any thoughts? What do you use?

Once again, I know this is the wrong section, but I trust your answers more.

Thanks
Beth

I've heard T-mobile is awful. I have AT&T, and besides the constant name change, it's fine by me.

I had T-Mobile before and it was ok. I have At&T now which is, largely, but I've noticed that the rates change everytime it switches between cingular and at&t and I don't really like that. I'm going to be switching to Verizon. I don't know where you live but they're the only network that has service on the trains (subway, metro, MARTA, whatever). You never know when you'll need it down there.

I use a mobile provider called Vodaphone. As memory serves it is available in America though I used T-Mobile when I was there, another European company. Never had a single issue the whole time.

T-Mobile is HORRIBLE. Know plenty of people that had it and switched. On the commercials, it's the cheapest, best rate plans but NOT worth it. I have Cingular At&t and i have never had a problem with it. Check cingular.com and check out the coverage on their map. Good luck!

i've been with cingular (now at&t) for years...
they were great as cingular, but they've changed a lot of things when they changed to at&t-- you used to get free or discounted phone upgrades every 2 years, now they aren't free anymore, you have to pay half price or more on any of them AND you get a service charge for switching the phones (yeah, cuz it's so hard to swap sim cards)... not to mention they got my phone insurance all screwed up, said i didn't have any, but i did... but it doesn't matter because you still have to get the new phone, THEN file an insurance report to get *part* of your money back...

I Use Verizon and have been very satisfied with the service I have no roaming charges anywhere in the country and free Long Distance. I've made calls from the tops of mountains and from Hawaii to the Mainland.

The worst you could probably do is get service with AT&T and the best you could probably do is get service with U.S. Cellular. AT&T are essentially scam artists and don't respect their customers while U.S. Cellular takes very good care of their customers not to mention that there service is very good. I believe you can get a free trial with U.S. Cellular.

I use Rogers (Canadian service). If I lived in the U.S., I'd probably be using Cingular.
