Contraception and Birth control don't prevent pregnancy at least 50% of the time, so that idea encourages peole to have sex, which leades to unwanted pregnancies, and then abortions. also

Rape cases are not the most common cause of unwanted pregnancies, fornications between teens is.

STD's are on the rise because of the "sex all the time" ideal is spreading, which also is the cause of abortions.

Don't you care about other humans's lives? Or do you only care about the mothers' convenience?

Think about it.

A parasite is a member of another species that harms its host. a baby does not.

The baby is not part of a woman's body, it has it's own UNIQUE DNA.

"woman's right to control her own body" does not mean you can kill another person

anything living can feel physical pain and damage done to it. even if it's different from the way we feel it.

"Not a person" what defines a person? and who's next to leave the list? It has human DNA, it's alive, and it's therefore a person. What does define a person?

Wow, such a loaded post with no basis in fact.

1.) There is no established and irrefutable link between abortion and the risk of breast cancer.
http://www.fwhc.org/abortion/abcancer.htm

2.) Fetuses are not legally defined as people. The vast majority of abortions are done within the first 12 weeks of conception, which the fetus could not survive outside the mother's womb nor do they "feel" pain.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion#By_gestational_age_and_method

3.) There is no credible evidence to suggest such a ridiculous notion.

4.) Consider what would happen if Roe v Wade is overturned. Do you honestly believe women will not have abortions? Back-alley coat-hangers will come back in style leading to more dangerous and unsanitary practices.

"...Contraception and Birth control don't prevent pregnancy at least 50% of the time..."

You are such a liar. These forms of contraception are, on average, 85-90% effective in preventing unwanted pregnancy. Of course, no method is 100% foolproof, but no reasonable person would believe that telling teens to "just say no" would do any good.

You have not a leg to stand on.

1) How can it cause cancer?
2) Do you really believe that?
3) Already knew that. The women who have abortions have to greatly think about what they are doing, and should be supported/comforted by those close to them to prevent this.
4) The fetus can't feel pain until like 20 weeks. 20 weeks, by then it's illegal to have an abortion. I think you need to do research on how the fetus are removed because the ways you listen seem unnecessary when there are safe ways to rid the fetus from the uterus.

You aren't responsible of a woman's reproductive organs, or what she decides to do with them.

Most of your "information" seems like hoopla (there isn't much proof to be honest) or things I already know. So to answer your question, yes I'm still pro-choice even after knowing this.

"It can cause cancer"

What doesn't cause cancer?

"It has murdered more than 50,000,000 people in the United States alone since 1973"

It hasn't murdered any "people".

"It often causes women to commit suicide because of the depression following it."

It's not for the weak.

"to "save people from their 'unwanted' child", a person is shredded to pieces, sawed apart, smothered, or pickled to death."

Not a "person".

"We are responsible to protect other peoples' lives (the children's)"

They are parasites.

"The Baby is not part of the mother's body"

They feed off of it.

"They feel 100% of the pain."

Stop spreading misinformation with your propaganda - they feel no pain, have no self-awareness, and have no idea what's going on.

Are you personally willing to support all of these unwanted children that would be born if no one had abortions? If not, shut up about it. Why don't you worry about living, breathing children that are abused, neglected and murdered every day instead of worrying about unborn fetuses that may or may not feel pain depending on how many weeks of development they have had?

Okey dokey. Get rid of abortion, have it punishable by death in states that have the death penalty - whatever floats your boat. Most people will go to Canada or Mexico, but then hey not your problem.

Now of COURSE you will back the necessary billions needed (funded by tax of course) to fund all those orphanages, foster homes, free clinics for women who have backstreet abortions that go wrong (I mean seeing as you're all for the saving of people) and extra handouts for mothers who will not be able to support a child for 18 years won't you? Now you've saved that child from such a terrible fate you WILL save it from having a terrible fate won't you?

Won't you?

If I was dumb enough to believe all that crap, I would oppose abortion! But I would be pushing for sex ed programs and wide use of contraception for teens in order to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Do you? If not you're a f***ing hypocrite!

I know the facts about abortion. I am still pro choice. It's a woman's body and she has a right to make decisions about her body as she pleases. Just because I'm pro-choice doesn't mean I'm pro-abortion either. I just think it's a woman's right to choose.

just stop with all of this, i am neither pro-choice or pro-life. i have lost an unborn child at 5 1/2 months but i have also had an abortion... this subject is so touchy too me and it upsets me alot, this question should be deleted!

Why do some people assume that pro-choicers feel the way that they do because they don't know all of the facts? The fact still remains that it's up to that woman to do what she decides to do with her own body. It's not up to you or me.

Amazing isnt it? Some sickos can read that and still support murdering innocent babies. They argue that the 'fetus' isnt a real human, and cant feel pain, because if they believed the truth, and were still okay with abortion, that'd make them monsters.

As for the 'its the womans body, its her choice' argument, it isnt the womans body being ripped into little pieces. Its the baby's body. Where are the babys choices???
