i would go for call of duty 4. i have played halo for some time and it just seems that halo have run out of intuitive ways of keeping the online game play new. sure, there is new weapons and maps but nothing new to it. call of duty 4 was fresh and intense especially the story mode. when you play story or online on halo, it doesn't feel epic but of call of duty 4, it intense and dramatic. there is so much more going on around you than what halo displays. you aren't just one person killing a army but one person in a platoon that face off against enemies with incredible odds against you. it's a great game and you should definitely play it. it is a must have.
