Knowing that they got fined $500,000 for one game against the Jets for taping signals does it tarnish them in your eyes?

Considering the "spygate" incident from this year didn't affect the outcome of any of the games from this year I would have to say no...and to say that it tarnished their previous Super Bowls is just an opinion based purely on speculation...you have no idea when they started or that they even used this tactic back then...I am not saying they didn't but no one on this board has proof that they cheated in their previous Super Bowl wins...also, I have heard a lot of ex-coaches including Ditka who say that every team does this...the only difference between the Pats and everyone else is that they got caught...so will it tarnish it for me? Nope.

Even though I despise the Patriots I don't feel that it tarnishes their season or that they might win the Super Bowl. There is alot of money here at stake for all teams and pressure on the coaches and players to do well each week so I they're all doing what they can to get a possible advantage over their opponents.

Only would bother me if they beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. Other than that, I wouldn't mind if they won since they obviously don't need to cheat to win since they still haven't lost a game all year. People make a big deal about this then forget to realize how the jets were getting the Ravens to false start the following week by making sounds.

What's even worse than the spying is the fact that they're constantly trying to come off as a respectable team, but they go for a touchdown on a 4th-and-1, within the 5 yard line, against a Buffalo team that couldn't score more than a single touchdown the first time around, and couldn't beat the Cowboys with six interceptions.

They constantly do things on the field that are just as bad as anything the referees could call in regards to unsportsmanlike conduct. And their mind games (claiming players are hurt). The way I see it, they're cheaters. They play the game like it doesn't matter how they win, as long as they win. They have no respect. Not for the league, other teams, coaches or individual players.

Oh, and with the fine, they lost their first round pick. But they have another one - San Francisco's. They're one of the wealthiest teams in the league, and they have possibly a 2nd overall pick for the next draft. There isn't -enough- punishment for them.

Enough with the "Spygate" already!

I'll still watch the NFL when Mike Vick's back on a team too!

Gimmee a break. We've turned into a nation of whiners.

Not at all. The Pats are on a roll. I only wish the Pats give some tips to my team the Detroit Losers (Lions), in how to finish a game like in Baltimore. If the Pats fin undefeated all the power to them.

If anything, it makes this Super Bowl more legit, for they are much less likely to have cheated this season in a similar fashion, knowing that the league and everyone else wants to catch them in the act again.

But yeah, it does put a stain on the old Bowls of Superness, particularly with the Eagles whining about how they seemed to know their plays.

No, The whole thing is overblown. People fall back on spygate because that is all they can say. Go Pats!

No, considering that they were demolishing other teams after the whole incident still.
